STASHTAGS 25/31

Today's word --- TOUCH.

Another of the word's that I immediately knew how I was going to put together. I've been putting the bits to choose from for this one in a little dish on my table for several days. Just fun. And there is a story here too. I have to touch yarn in the store - fabric too - and beads hanging in the store - gonna stroke my hand across them. Those things just feel good. My Molly - she is a very tactile person and has a strong opinion about the feel of surfaces. AND SHE HATES THE FEEL OF VELVET (OR ANYTHING THAT HAS THAT PLUSHY FEEL)

So here's the listy of stuff (notes about my thinking too)

- blue cardstock tag base.
- anaglypta wall paper - (love this stuff) these bits were left from wedding prep
- red velvet ribbon bit (just for Molly)
- scrap of copper roof flashing (metallic, and cool to the touch)
- tiny corner of sand paper (scratchy)
- scrap of creamy burlap with fringes left on it (rough and tickly)
- a rolled edging of beads ( I have been hanging onto this for years. When I would run across is it in the bead
Jar I would rub it much like a worry stone. It is glass beads and has a smooth and yet nubby texture - I
        just liked it.
- the TOUCH was stamped using metal stamps from Harbor Freight Company. (you can feel them as you
        touch the copper stripe too.
- the hanger is satin cording. ( I actually despise to work with this stuff, but had a bunch left from projects
I think it is like dust bunnies and multiplies in the jar - but is gave me a silky textured something to add
        to the tag.

Now for a few studio glimpses -

These were stacked on my table last night.
The ribbon scrap container
The bling jar
A clear thing of threads
And some seed beads bought as a clearance mix.
A button jar - don't think I even need to explain this do I?

I've used quite a bit of stuffs for the STASHTAGS out of the ribbon scrap container. This is a repurposed clear food container (fresh pineapple from the store). It stays on the table or a nearby surface all the time. As I have ribbon, cording, and lace trimmings left, I plunk them in and pack it down. I also cut the ribbon hangers from the shoulders of sweaters and such and any reusable ribbon packaging bits. Before I cut more for a project, I generally dump this out and paw through it.

The bead and bling jar (I think i first featured this jar here.) This is almost as much fun to play in as a button jar or box. Contains bits of beaded trims. Sequins, all kinds of beads, some fun threads - just stuff) I will never use this all and I keep adding to it because many button boxes wind up having random beads in them.

Then as I was putting things away last night to have a clear space to trace nativity figures on wood blocks, I saw my favorite storage purchase EVER. I bought cases of these stacking bottles/jars. They are hard plastic and have a lip on one side so they stack nicely. I use them for things like you see pictured. Love them and have been on the lookout for more for years, but not seen anything like these again. I have even spent hours on google with NO succcess.

Anyway -- there are you some studio glimpses

Have a great weekend. Mine includes LOTS of planned studio time.

the tv cabinet.

We must be the last people in the USA to not upgrade to a huge flatscreen tv. But we don't think there is a need for that expense at this time. So our older - tiny little tv fits our cabinet just fine.

The cabinet is made from a cedar armoire. Now do not freak out - this was a free cabinet and the door panels were busted when it showed up on my front porch a few years back. Yes - just like a stray dog - the dang thing was on my front porch when I came home one day. Cool in and of itself.

At the time, the Man at my address converted it using shelves made from recycled wood and trim we removed from our house during the remodel. I took the broken panels out and replaced them with luan (a really thin plywood like product.) I put bookshelf wallpaper on the front of the panels and painted the inside white. In THEORY, we would keep this closed and the pretty "bookshelves" would be seen.

YEAH RIGHT - NOT.

Then dang thing stays open all the time. Just like this........

Saturday - I dragged all the crap out and cleaned it. Straightened the stuff inside. And decided to go ahead and complete a project I had been PLANNING on doing for weeks. Actually years.

Now you guys know me - I am all about the right tools - (insert hysterically appropriate commentary here).

I grabbed a hammer and a prying device ........ yes that is a flat blade frosting knife from the kitchen drawer.

And I set up an appropriate painting table on my front porch. Yes that one is a bar stool.

And this one is a porch rocker.

Don't judge - it worked just fine.
The result - a much nicer look for the cabinet door when they are open. There is even more PLANNED for these now almost always open doors.
Even cooler - I used things I already had. No money spent. WhoHoo.
Stay tuned......
Update for some faraway friends - yes, I work in Athens, GA. Yes, there is a cop killer on the loose. The main focus of the search is focused in the area around my work. Most of it less than 5 miles from us. It is an uneasy feeling to be so close to the focus area. All of us will be very relieved when it is all over. But please friends remember the Officer Buddy Christian family in your thoughts and prayers. He leaves a wife and two small children. Funeral services will be Sunday.
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend.

Looky what I got.

The Man at my Address has been really good to me through this little roadblock. He was at the doctors office when we found out and he stayed night and day at the hospital with me. (He did leave me a few times, but he was really careful who got to stay with me - something that will forever be an inside joke) He has cooked, cleaned, shopped, talked to people about how I was doing. He kept track of food and other stuff that came to the hospital. He did pack my bags and bring stuff to the hospital.

But he did not bring flowers. Not the first time. There were no broad declarations of love and support. No cards. No letters. Not his style at all.

But people, DO NOT FEEL SORRY FOR ME. Because in the middle weeks of this recovery, he got home one afternoon with this............

Yup - cubbies for my studio. Now my facebook friends have all seen this, but I missed posting it here. So no don't feel sorry for me, this man knows what I like. And when he discovered this was going to be discarded at work, he snagged it for MaggieGrace world. I think he kinda gets me -- what about you?

SAY FREE!!!!!!! I couldn't really jump and do the happy dance, but I was very very excited.

Look carefully at the other end, that section has been added on. It is now detached and sitting on the top.

As quick as I am fully able, I'll be rearranging the furniture in my house and in the studio, to accomodate this lovely. This is going to really work nicely and I have been looking for one that was affordable. I also have tons of those baby wipe tubs, that will be used for even more storage containers for this. I'll be using ModPodge to dress those containers up.

Speaking of ModPodge, I (specifically my lamp repurpose) was featured on the Mod Podge Rocks facebook page yesterday. Go here, to find lots of linky goodness for crafty peeps.

I am having a slightly better day today - feeling a little stronger. Gonna try to get back to my bootcamp schedule next week. I'm ready for some semblance of normal again.

Have a great day. I have a beautiful life.

wow - what spaces

I toured studios and I toured studios - I found great inspiration. Mostly I found highly personal spaces that each and every artist is proud to say is theirs. What fun? I added a few blog feeds to my google reader (a lot of the participants were already there) That was some party.

I did not get MaggieGraceWorld ready on time for the party, but I did walk away with some wonderful ideas. I have printed and saved links and such.

I will show you some of the recent additions to the studio that I am liking.

Being a packrat, I have stacks of tins, obviously some are missing their lids. This is at the ceiling in the barn. I used fender washers and drywall screws to attach some to the trim. These will hold supplies that are not often used. Like floral and metallic ribbons and those ribbons that I have duplicates of. There are also bags of cancelled postage stamps in one of them. I have a folding chair/ladder contraption that I can use to reach these so it is not all that inconvenient to use either. As I stock things into them, I am adding labels to the bottom edge, just to prevent that out of site out of mind thing. Yes, I am out of ceiling tiles - need to buy at least one more box.

Friends, family, fun stuff. All are featured on the design wall. It has become an inspiration board and I love it. 8 feet wide by 7 feet tall - this may be my favorite built in feature here.

How exactly do you take a decent photo of reflective items? I love these side stacking lab bottles. I have about 40 of them and I have sorted buttons, beads and baubles. I still have several more available to fill too. Available space - isn't that a packrat's dream?

This last picture is a favorite detail. I had the raw edge of the wood countertop on my blue cabinet. I looked and looked to decide what to do. Then I went to the dollar store and found packets of cheap wooden school rulers. I think all crafters measure constantly and this may not be the most accurate way, but it sure has been handy. I simply attached them with metal thumbtacks. Confession - this idea is not new - think about cutting tables in fabric stores. Oh and look - yes those are two empty locker baskets retrieved from the trash - empty as of right now - that means more available space for stuff.

So there you have a few more details of my space.

I am persevering on the weight watchers eating plan and workouts. I have been frustrated by the weight loss number, but yesterday I put on a pair of pants that were uncomfortably too big. I traipsed off to the scales to see and I am down 22 pounds. I was pleasantly surprised. Last night found me walking three miles and running/jogging 1.5 miles in intervals. I feel stronger and physically better. My doctors visit on Friday could be interesting - hope he is impressed that I have lost some weight.

Have a great day all ----
I will

Random Babble

I need your help. Each year we do our local home and garden show at my real world job. Each year I have a very limited budget for this booth design and display and I have won several awards in the past for the booth design as well. It is a massive undertaking to come up with something new and different each year. I look for inspiration everywhere. I have used book pages in the past . I have built partitions from pipe. All kinds of stuff.

While I was searching for images in those Anthro catalogs over the weekend, I found the image below.

I used it on my shelf and it became a bit of inspiration. The booth will feature a very romantic and feminine decor. A big bathtub - an antique furniture piece fitted for a lavatory. Instead of candy hand outs, I'll be using cheap silk flowers with our address attached.

I plan on using the flower design below (I kept all those book pages from before) and some red painted muslin and velvet panels as my background - then attach the recycled item flowers randomly to the wall. I am so inspired by Curious Sofa's site and all those Anthro windows.

Tell me - do you think this creates an interesting and eye catching booth that will draw you in? It is "green" and it is different, both things that I am known for. Should I make any changes to the flower design? Plus I get to keep all those flowers for my art show booth in November.

Now - about that shelf....

It is not hanging - I could not find my brackets. Above you see the little flowers I glued in the corners.

Above are the bottom three shelves. I adore the image of the man and boy peeping through the window. it is from a late 50's magazine and I have been hoarding it to use in a project that makes ME happy. All the other shelves have Anthropologie Catalog pages.

The last picture is the top three shelves. The entire thing is 10 inches wide and almost 42 inches tall.
Feels good to be creating again. Feels good to be back in the studio.
Hope you all have a wonderful day.

601 - a portable work box - - -

I got one of these as a surprise goodie. A plano box - according to Plano Molding this is one of their fishing tackle products. As I am cleaning, sorting, and organizing, I am utilizing all of the storage containers I have amassed at my house. I have the big tackle box too - more on that later.

I went to the doctor yesterday for full check up. The chest pains (although diagnosed as stress) worried me and I made an appointment for the full once over. Turns out this was the right decision - they did blood work, weighed me (15 lbs lighter than after my surgery last fall), and confirmed that my blood pressure is going to require medication. They gave me a pill in the office and asked me to wait for several minutes to make sure I did not have any reaction to this. I gladly accomodated the request - since the emergency room sent me home having a reaction to the morphine - now I am even wary.

I hardly ever take any medications. This often causes meds to be stronger than anticipated. No different here. I spend yesterday afternoon fighting the fatigue of too much of a good thing. My blood pressure dropped too far. Phone calls back to the office - then an adjustment to my prescription. Today is much better.

I cancelled my evening activities and parked my happy little fanny on the sofa. The only problem was I could see a mess out of the corner of my eye. I gathered up the tools to fix part of the mess.

Here is where I started. They are looped and some what untangled. Floss bits and bobs. Leftovers that I use for all kinds of projects. I just wish this was all of it. I gathered the floss, the Plano box, Scissors, a postage stamp shaped punch, scrap cardstock, and a hole punch and moved it all to the sofa with me. Look again at the mess.
I punched and untangled and looped and wrapped. I watched HOUSE reruns. I was alone and resting. An hour later look -------
One of the compartmented trays full of goodness. In a form that I can grab, carry, and use easily. As I add other things to this box - I'll decide carefully about the contents. This may become a small art escape kit.
Don't forget to go to post 600 and leave a comment to win an embellished journal.
Have a fabulous day.

Never never land

I've been missing in action for several days now. Nothing is wrong, just a long weekend. Back to work today - to some serious computer problems. Seems the internet gets no farther than the router. This will have to be fixed - can't handle it at all. So here I am at nearly midnight, posting something new for Lannae to read.

Lannae has her own blog, but has yet to give me the link, maybe because she knows that I'll spread the word about her and all of you guys can get to know her too.

I accomplished a lot this weekend - in the house - in the studio - on the craft arena. Even my Mom wants to know where all this stuff came from in my house.

Take a look

MaryAnn asked about collections - does this qualify as one? Wooden boxes. Love them. Even the local best friend bought a wooden box for the gift card at Christmas. That open box contains cards from you guys.

Yet another picture of the shelf that I coverd with the scout handbook pages. As you can see, i still have some painting to finish. Look on top of the shelf and you will find a painting that the college freshman completed for me and dad. This will be moved to the house as soon as I decide where it will live.

Not everything is nice and neat yet ...

Why is it that some things that are stupidly time consuming make me the happiest while I work on them.

Just look at this project.

One overflowing box of ribbon and the really neat jar of those ribbons wound around scraps of card stck and card board. I have spent hours on this and I sit out there in the still and quiet and just enjoy the repetitive motion aspect of this. I have another gallon bag of ribbons and lace after I finish all that is in this picture.

Hope you are enjoying these sneak peeks as I am still adding to the space. I did make progress on the top secret project (you will all be let in on it soon) and also on some VERY LATE packages that need to head out. I promise I'll get there.

I have mentioned my beautiful mother-in-law, Ann, on more than one occasion here. Please lift her up and send well wishes as she heads off to a cardiologist tomorrow. Seems she "flunked" the stress test and the local docs have sent her to a more experienced physician. I'll copy any comments to her so she will know that many all over the world are praying for her.

I'll be off for another long weekend on Friday. Headed to a ball tournament in Columbus, GA with the Softball Princess. She's back and having a great season.

Have a wonderful day everyone.

Oh and the name of the post - I never - never - never need to buy anything else for my creative pursuits -

This is a serious issue people ...

I found out this weekend that a friends teenager is "cutting herself". Breakup with the first boyfriend triggered it. People you cannot love a child out of this. This issue needs immediate and professional intervention. What causes personally destructive behaviors? Myriad reasons. Teens are expecially at risk for lots of these behaviors. Be vigilant - hell - be nosy - ask questions - who? what? where? when? know your child's friends - know your child's normal behaviors - be involved. When you signed up as Mommy, you signed up for the hard stuff too. You signed up to be the parent -NOT THE FRIEND. Keep that perspective please - it is important. There are moments when the last thing you want to hear is the words "I hate you" because you are trying to lead them in the right direction. They really don't hate you and they know you love them.

Stepping off the soapbox now.

The college freshman came home this weekend - complete with laundry. How cliche is that? So I took her to the laundromat in town (we are still struggling with our well at home) and made her wash them. That backfired as far as she is concerned. I fully enjoyed having her home and in all honesty - her leaving yesterday was harder than last week, so I retreated to my "space".

I am down to sorting all that little stuff that drives you crazy.

I need not purchase any white glue in the near future. I found a shoe box full in the bottom of the craft cabinet. Yes this is embarassing.

What to do about these hanging craft bags. Take 1/2 of a cheap dollar tree plate drying rack and screw it to the wall. I can flip through these quickly - fun stuff. I have some more of these bags too -

Buttons, beads, bottles. These are my drugs of choice. Stress relief - relaxation - sleep aid - revitalization aid - blood pressure reduction - these little bottles cover it all.

After the entire afternoon of sorting and putting away stuff, I fixed a little card for Molly and mailed it in an envelope that Ann-Margret made for me. Then I took a magazine page in the house and made one of my own - fun stuff - there will be lots more of these. Then I spent some time cross stitching on the top secret project while I watched Law and Order and Cold Case.

More sorting tonight - then some silver work.

Have a great day.

Just fun stuff

Trying hard to focus on getting things sorted and organized in the studio. Aside from the temps inside being uncomfortable right now (saving up for an AC unit), it is a fabulous place to work or just hang out. Once I get everything moved and put away, it will be so nice to work out there. I have discovered that I am going to need some additional shelving added close to the ceiling for those items that I seldom use.

Over the weekend, Beth dropped this off in the barn. Look at the font that the words "photograph album" are written in. Any idea about where I can find this font to add to my computer? Loving this.

More fun stuff. I am adding ribbon spools to that cabinet. Performing a sort of inventory as I go. Putting duplicates in that bread tin and marking the matching one in the cabinet with a note saying that I have duplicate spools in the box. Maybe I won't have the urge to buy so readily and then have duplicates that I don't need.

As I have sorted and put away, I have found and combined several collections. After putting a few heart shaped brooches in a small basket, I decided that I wanted to be able to see them readily. The lace that I glued around the perimeter of the box provided the perfect spot for this display. Look at my hearts - above and below - all gifts from online buddies and/or local friends.

Since I have decided that all MaggieGrace art will have a heart motif included, this is a very appropriate collection for me. I do love being able to glance over my shoulder and be reminded of love and blessings.

Now, about the picture below, this was a fun rediscovery. Forgot I had these, but aren't they pretty in all their pastel goodness. I set these to the side so I can find a clear gallon jug to store them in. I want to see these colors for a little while. Just so very pretty.

I can see me adding these to a Rebecca Sower style piece

Having a difficult time wrapping my head and heart around the events this week. I have found myself aimlessly staring and just being still and quiet as I process all of this. The studio move has been a welcome distraction.

Many years ago everything I worked on was dark and moody, but for the last several years I have seen my work go to a lighter and more positive format. I can feel the urge to create some darker stuff again. Does everyone have the "mood swings" in their work or am I the only crazy one in the bunch?

Have a wonderful day.

Doing her own thing

Blue shorts - a 1999 soccer shirt - a red stretchy belt - and some orange thing tied in her hair. Paint in a bowl - and sitting on the floor of the studio. The mix cd includes - 80's rock - 70's disco - some 50's wonderful harmony - alternative music - and a couple of her Uncle Johns renditions of some popular music. She quite happily drives a vehicle older than she is. Prefers cute little flats over heels any day - and at damn near 6 feet tall and a size 5 - can wear anything she chooses rather well.

What do you do with this bohemian personality? I choose to love her and tell her over and over how proud I am of her. She is an individual and I am so freakin proud of her and the softball princess. As different as night and day, but they are close to one another. I watched them a lot over the weekend - especially at the hospital - as they snuggled in a chair together.

People notice them both. Boys look at them (a source of fear in the man at my address's heart). They have no idea how much they are going to miss one another this fall. The graduate is beginning to be clingier as the time approaches for her to leave - reality is sinking in. The softball princess has staked full claim on her room and is picking out paint colors and new furniture arrangements. Friendly competition over room rights - a full blown battle over the wardrobe. We asked the softball princess if she would be helping us move Molly into her dorm room - her answer - "oh yes because I'll need to make sure she didn't take any of my clothes or shoes." Too funny.

The softball princess has one more travel tournament (which she will not be playing in) this weekend. She gets the pins out of her hand next Tuesday. Let me brag on her too. The only practice she missed was one that coincided with her surgery follow up appointment. Despite not being able to do any thing at practice, she has been up early and at all her workouts and practice. She is chomping at the bit to be back on the field. She has not chosen to lay around and feel sorry for herself, instead she shows up and is an encourager and inspiration to her coaches and teammates. I love that quality in her.

MaggieGrace has to appear here. Another goodie from my Mother-in-Law. She teases me about loving this old junk. Oh well - lets say that i am true to myself and yes I do love this old stuff. A tin bread box - this thing was nasty - I scrubbed it up last night and left it open to dry. I'll be stuffing it with ribbon spools that will not fit on the ribbon box I repurposed.

Tonight I move those ribbons and some more stuff out of the brown cabinet - confession - there is no way all this is gonna fit. I also have to complete some of the butterflies to take with me on Thursday.

Hope this finds everyone having a wonderful day.

Studio progress - and the reveal

I am so happy Miami lost the college world series game last night. Georgia plays tomorrow night and as of right now remains undefeated. Go Dawgs - and only a southerner knows that is absolutely the correct spelling and must be accompanied by a bark.

What was in that tin? The bath powder tin. MORE buttons. Just look. I have a lot of buttons.

These are horridly dirty. But I'll enjoy every moment of fondling these as I scrub them up with a soft tootbrush and soapy water.
I already picked favorites - yellow and gold coat buttons - (is there an easy way to verify that the tube shaped ones are really bakelite?) The milk dud shaped brown ones are fun and I adore the square green ones - they remind me of monopoly houses for some reason.
A detail shot of the yellow ones.

Look again at these graphics. I am so drawn to the look of these cards.
Now for the fun stuff I did last night.
Disregard the mess in the lower right corner - focus on the cabinet -
Before I proceeded with my work last night.

And after.....
A 10.00 investment in some clearance peel and stick tiles. Easy clean up - damp cloth. Almost effortless installation - meets my needs for a drying/stamping/pile crap up surface. I could have done a laminate top - but this will work and it fit the budget perfectly. I am thinking a piece of RED trim across the front then I can call this part done too. It is not an exact match - but hello - it works.

No work there tonight - softball calls - she can't play but she wants to be there.
Hope this finds you having a wonderful day....

Always be Prepared

Ray is obviously younger than me. His last name starts with an "M". He was a Webelo Scout in 1983. (the year I graduated from high school) I have his scout manual. The den leader's initials were DJ. That is all that I know about him for sure. I can assume he was an athlete and wanted to earn his Woodsman badge. (all of the blanks were initialed for the athletics and most for the woodsman). I really hope he doesn't see this and want that book back.

See at 8:00 pm last night - this is what his scout manual looked like. Deconstructed and spread out on the counter in the studio. The final step between me and a finished bookcase. I thrifted the book because of the graphics. When I painted the shelf, this was in the back of my mind as the covering on the back of the shelves.

I love working in the studio. Now that I have power out there and a small tabletop fan, it is bearable even when the daytime temps are now in the high 80's here (sorry Mrs G. - it is beautiful here in the sunny south) I have not even turned on the radio while I am working. Quiet, peaceful, productive, relaxed. How cool is that????

The handbook contains a wealth and huge variety of information. I started with the full pages that I just loved. Randomly glued them into place and then worked out from there.

It took me a few hours - one bottle of white plain ol' Elmers school glue - a cheap cruddy paint brush, a glass of sweet tea and two Miller Lights. There is no photo, but the apron that Carrie made me has become the studio uniform constant. I go in and, like Mister Rogers, don the studio uniform - then I am in work mode. I like having that separate space a lot.
A zoomed view of the top shelf. Yes - the graphics are fun. I have asked the man at my address to get a coat of paint on the floor tonight while I am at church. Then I'll move this into it's final location and attach it to the wall.

The great thing about the project. It was cheap -

bookcase --- free

primer --- already there (pennies)

paint --- a miss mix at Lowes (3.00)

glue --- 1.00

thrifted book --- free (it was damaged)

less than 5.00 for the entire shelf. Now that qualifies as a bargain.

A bonus feature of the shelf -- the shelves are spaced far enough apart to hold my big paper/mail sorter shelf. So one shelf of this lovely will be designated just for paper storage. All of your other paper whores will surely understand how important it is to have all that paper in one place.

By the way - finished this at around 11:30 last night.

A happy dance happening again.

Have a wonderful day.

Just fun stuff ...

A few random images - some to fit themes going on in blogland. Some just because. I know somebody starts these themes, but I did not follw the links to find out. Sorry.

I left a comment on a blog for a new shop in Barcelona and won a little prize pack from them. (that is always so much fun) My package came yesterday. White pear tea, Chocolate, and a little beaded something. Go to www.vonblum.com to see the shop. Looks like a fun place.

A picture from work on Monday. In my grown up girl real job, I am a plumbing showroom manager. Yes - I sell toilets for a living - no - it was not what I always wanted to do. Yesterday a young couple was here to pick out the fixtures for their house and Jeremy chose to try on the tub. I know this couple and took the opportunity to snap this shot while he was sitting there. If you must know, lots of people get in the tubs, and many actually sit on the toilets to try toilet seats and heights. In 20+ years only twice has a child "used" a non working toilet in the store.

What I was doing last night at 11pm. I started earlier in the evening, and managed to get two coats of blue on this bookshelf for the studio. The top three shelf backs will be decopaged tonight with pages from an old boy scout handbook. The bottom shelf won't be noticed, so I simply painted the back of it.

Playing along - studio storage. Fun metal typeset dies in one of my printer trays. Loving the macro setting on the camera.

Another playing along - seeing RED -- a tiny bit of bright red crackled paint remains on this folk art flag hanging on my barn. This was painted by Liz Lampe - a wonderful friend of mine - many years ago on a salvaged piece of tin roofing.

Busy planning the graduate's beach trip - the softball princess is in the heat of summer workouts - playing the travel ball tournament schedule - working on the studio - summer is our busy time at work.

Miss Molly will be taking the camera to the beach next week. I need to plan some pictures ahead - any requests for things you would like to see around MaggieGrace World. Or even some open ideas for photos I'll be needing 5 ideas ------- help !!!!!

Hope this finds all of you having a wonderful day.
